We’ve also got a lovely treat for all our readers! We were recently sent a wonderful pair of prescription eyeglasses from GlassesShop.com. They provide some fab cheap eyeglasses – music to our ears. With so many pairs to choose from we felt spoilt for choice. We love the dimple and pearl detail on these classic cat eye frames.
They also have a campaign running called ‘First Pair of Glasses Free‘…which does what it says on the tin! A free pair of prescription eyeglasses or prescription sunglasses (just pay
for shipping)
They also given us the code GSHOT50 for half price on all other frames! How great is that! Get over there asap vintage fans!

Herd Em Up! Judy’s Vintage Does Beatherder

beatherder 10

Team Judy are in some serious recovery after an amazing weekend at Beatherder Festival! Celebrating both the tenth anniversary of the festival and our very own fair, we decked out our stripy marquee with the best in vintage traders. We had a ball meeting some funky customers and dancing the night away to some serious 90s throwback dance. Check out some of our best photos below…

This lovely customer snapped up one of our trader Adele’s two-pieces and looked ace! She was also a dedicated ‘herder – attending every year for the past eight years, she even had a tattoo of their logo!

This ace lady came into our tent with ten minutes to go before officiating a shaman wedding – we got her kitted out in this gorgeous frock in no time! Just call us fairy godmothers…

Win Free Kilo Entry – FOR A YEAR! Our Summer Survey

Screen Shot 2015-07-09 at 12.59.13

We like to think that we’re doing a pretty good job over at Vintage Kilo HQ, but as we all know, complacency is never chic! During our quieter summer season, kilo events manager Jenessa has been beavering away on lots of new ideas and innovations for the next season of vintage kilo sales, but we need YOUR help – with an added little prize giving of course!

Put simply, we want to know what you love best about The Vintage Kilo Sale, and what you’d like to see improved. We’ve made it super easy for you to show us your thoughts – simply full in our survey here.

As an extra little incentive, everybody who fills in the survey (and remembers to enter their email address in the final box) will be entered into a prize draw to win FREE ENTRY for them and a friend for ONE FULL YEAR of kilo sales, plus one free kilo each at their first event of choice. Don’t say we’re not good to you!

For those not in the know, The Vintage Kilo Sale is the younger sister of Judy’s Affordable Vintage Fair, with a fun rummage twist. Established in 2009, we stock clothing from the 1960-1990s on rails and in large tubs, but nothing is individually priced – instead, you simply grab the items you like, pop them in one of our purple bags and then are charged by weight – £15 per kilo, which normally equates to 3-5 items. Bargain eh? For all our event info and updates visit us on facebook here.
